ABOUT US
This website was created as a course project for an Asian-American studies course, specifically, Koreans in the United States.
We, the creators, are Fall 2015 San Francisco State University students.
Our group is comprised of 6 members total:
Hee-Sang Kim
Erin McLaughlin
Jeff Yeh
Tammy Leon
Freddie Lum
Julia Custodio
Throughout the semester, we learned about many different Korean and Korean-American struggles; however, one that truly spoke to us was the post-Korean War adoption phenomenon. As a group, we unanimously decided to devote our final research project to sharing the history, causes, and effects of Korean adoption to this day.
We sincerely hope our website has enriched your cultural understanding of Korean adoptees, as well as Korean-American history.
Thank you for reading!
